Peter & The Starcatcher

A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains a precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s precious cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure.

Winner of five Tony Awards, Peter and the Starcatcher is the wildly-theatrical coming-of-age adventure story about how a nameless orphan - inspired by a remarkable and ambitious girl - became the strange and celebrated hero that we know as Peter Pan. Featuring a dozen actors portraying more than 100 unforgettable characters, Peter and the Starcatcher uses ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination to bring the story to life.

Dog Sees God: Confessions Of A Teenage Blockhead

A moving “unauthorized parody,” Dog Sees God reimagines beloved characters from the popular comic strip 'Peanuts' as degenerate teenagers. Drug use, child sexual abuse, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion, sexual relationships, and identity are among the issues touched on in this spin-off of the works of Charles M. Schulz. The use of these well-known figures is what gives the show its emotional punch: Even beloved child characters must some day grow up and deal with a harsh reality as they find their place in the world.

Thank You For Being A Friend: The Golden Girls Musical

Thank You For Being A Friend: The Golden Girls Musical
April 5-20, 2019 at the Lyric Theatre Cabaret Stage
Starring: Hunter Ekberg, Shawn Gray, Eric Vaughn Johnson, Hector Manuel, and Eric Schutt with special appearance by Nicolas Samper.

The beloved 1980s sitcom is now a live musical parody... in drag!

Four women over 60 are spending their golden years together in a wicker-filled bungalow in Miami- the varicose-veined vixen, the brainy ball-buster, the lovable airhead, and the wisecracking spitfire. However, when gay pop superstar Ricky Martin moves next door, his loud outdoor parties keep the quartet of cheesecake-loving retirees awake.

The solution pits the gays against the girls at the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show: if the women win, then no more parties; if the gays garner top prize, the sassy seniors must serve as the party's clean-up crew. Singing, dancing, and hilarity ensues! Recommended for mature audiences only.
